You could try using a metal cookie cutter, they alway eat the sarnies if they are the shape of stars, clouds, teddy bears etc - give the crust to the birds

All this talk of the sandwich cutting and the effect it has on the sides reminds me of an old puzzle. It's a bit hard to describe without a link to it, but essentially, it's a rectangle of graph paper, with a few cuts in it that can be arranged into a rectangle 2 ways. 1, the way it originally was, is a perfect rectangle. The other has 2 squares missing from one corner! It's quite a cool effect if you see it done.

Anyone know the proper name/can provide a web link?
