Got a few more lessons/rides and then its D Day.
I will keep you posted.
Are you doing the test on a school bike or your own?

U turns were my biggest problem, as everyone says just be smooth and try to relax. Easier said than done I know but you'll do fine.

I have opted to do the lessons and the test on my own machine.
Maybe a good idea may not but, its a good way to be able to ride it between buying it and doing my test.
Its killing me knowing its in the garage and i cant ride it everyday.

Hmm, the plus side is that it's a bike that you will know (at least a bit) the downside is that I never found the SV that great for U turns. It did them but it was much easier to do on the GS500 that I had on my test. Sure you'll do fine. At least you could go to a private estate and practice in your own time (get someone to ride it there for you though).

Good choice of bike, svnewboy, enjoy it, see you on the next South West Surfers rideout.

Cheers Mogs.
If all goes well with the test I will be there. Cant wait to be able to join in with these rides instead of watching you lot **** pass me whilst driving the wifes people carrier.
As for the name you can always learn something so i will always be the newboy to somebody.
