Hiya.

I've got a casio exilim ex-z60. Had it since march I think. They're going for about £130 on amazon at the moment. They're really fast to start up, the battery lasts for ages and I've taken some superb pics with it. I'd definately recommend it, so maybe worth a look? I was thinking about the IXUS ones too, but this was cheaper and I was skint at the time

I upgraded mine recently to a W810i - great phone and camera. Does little high quality vids well too. MP3 walkman is a bonus.

I had this camera before and it's great. Long battery life, good quality pics, cheap memory.

Or any 2 megapixel camera with optical zoom

you don't need to spend more than ~£30.

You will never need more than 2 mega pixel for private use.

(This is coming from a guy owning a £500 7 Megapixel camera... You learn by the mistakes you make in life )

i have decided on the camera in the above link(thanks pat) but wots the diffrence between offer 1 & 2, & which shall i get

Dunno. But you'll probably want more memory for it I think, 8mb is, to be honest, rubbish.

If I understand the auction right, it's saying that at full detail it'll hold 5. At absolute lowest quality, about 60. Could be wrong. But don't worry, memory isn't expensive these days- you can pick up 512mb for under a tenner and that's as big as I reckon you'd need. I'm going to get me a big honkin' SD card so that I never get caught out of "film" again, but I've got on fine with just 256mg for years.

In fact, you'd be fine with less, but I don't see any point, there's hardly any saving.
