yep, even the 2003 B1H's tend to roar rather loudly at you then... by which point your holding on for dear life as well!

The FI compensates quite happily when the snorkle is removed. I also had a Scorpion can as well. 99% OK aprt from a few 'coughs' around town when on the overrun - I never got round to having it remapped
