I personally believe that you need a bit more experience and confidence to ride the SV.

The K6/K7 looks the dogs ********, I'd love one.
What a load of ********.
Come on, spit it out. Say what you really mean!

Quite agree though

As said before get a test ride, but both go so you can ride pillion. Its not very nice sitting on the back of a sportsbike for very long unless your size 0

Default GSXR

Hi,
yes everyone recomends a test drive which yes you'd be silly not to do when splashing out £7000 but WHERE ? in the North East loads of dealers are reluntant and just laugh at U when you ask and then you get the bleating stories of all the bikes that have been damaged during test rides and 1 guy was even killed and they were bleating on about the £10m cost of the bike ?? Who has got the new K7 on demo ?

Cheers Claire..

Dealers have insurance, for which you have to pay the excess. If they don't offer a test ride, then you're not going to buy are you!

Most official Suzuki dealers should have test bikes available, they certainly have down here, I test rode a GSXR before buying. They have insurance so in the unlikely event of you dropping the bike you pay the excess and thats it. Sounds like a dodgy dealer you spoke to if you ask me. Ring around the different dealers would be my advice.

Default GSXR 600

Kate,
We have just come back from Tilston in Stockton they do not have demos on till early next year. Also Kens at Newcastle do not have any demo's on !!!They did have all the 3 colours in though. We can't decide between the black + the blue /white. I like both but the blue/white is dare I say 'common' everyone seem's to have this colour. My doubt over the black I wonder how long this will be an 'in' colour and visability wise I just always have in my mind with bright colours you are more visable ?? I would like to know for sure. The red was also nice mind. Anyway we R going to try + sell our Z750 privately if we don't manage try again in Feb if it does not sell we will just part ex as I think we should wait till the new reg. as realistically we are fair weathered bikers so will just be in garage over winter. Mind you we never seem to have any patience he may go thro tomorrow and do the deal. But with no part ex we could save £600 straight away but when you look at well its only £100 a month Decisions Decisions. I am going to keep my Er6 for one more summer just to gain more experience really then we will go down to the 1 bike and it will be my mission to increase my confidence that I will not drop a £7m worth of bike. As fit wise it does fit and in fact is lighter, shorter and skinnerer than I bike I ride at the mo.
If anyone knows who has got demos on in North East area please let us know
Claire

Any K6 demo bikes? They'll be the same as the K7 (aside from colours perhaps).
