Theres absolutley nothing impressive about being an idiot... =he locked up the rear at one point, and managed to avoid going into the back of a car.... theres some damned stupid videos in alongside that, people puttling stoppies, and headbutting the floor.. one pulling a stoppie while sitting on the screen of his bike and dropping the bike big time, then looking at it as if it was the bikes fault for falling over ![]() As for knee downs, yes it is down to body positioning, and the wierd thing is, once you do get your knee down, you realise just how much further the bike can lean as well... (well on my bike anyway) as for vids, found this amongs that lot above, non bike related.. but its probably an animal you wouldnt want to come across if its in a bad mood.. ![]() |

I like the crash videos myself, but that corner one was just, well, going round a corner. Then, as you say, locking up a bit. If I had a video of me doing that, I'd delete it
![]() I always get quite amused at the people who hang off for miles just to get their knees down... If your riding style's designed just to get your knee down, it's probably not all that good for actually riding a bike ![]() I have the unfair advantage of being physically unable to lean off much to the left, and unable to stick my knee out to the right, so having done it in the past I'm now disqualified by injury ![]() ![]()

I don't bother with kd on the road myself, just do it every now and again for ****s and giggles. I hate hanging off the bike.

I've got some sliders now and I'd like to wear 'em down when the weather improves. Just to see what all the fuss is about.
What tips on technique can anyone give me? I've got no problems with lean angle, she tips over plenty when the conditions are right. ut when it comes to getting one cheek off the seat I'm in unknown territory! Someone here mentioned swiveling around the tank? |
