My diabetics nurse also says it should be below 4 and since taking tablets mine has dropped form 7.5 to around 4. I am slim, fit and eat pretty well but without the tabs for the cholesterol it just wont stay down

As one who has had major heart surgery my former level was 10.6 but with moderate dietery changes and wieght loss to within average for BMI it has now dropped to 3.8 which is well within the limits for my age. I do have it monitored every 6months by blood tests. I do still eat and drink what I fancy but in MODERATION which seems to be the answer
