Always.

Spare is either in the bum bag, or in another (inside) pocket of my jacket, unless I'm using the tankbag, which is where I normally put it. My spare key also has my spare alarm fob (my normal key and fob are seperate).

Don't go anywhere without them both.... Silly thing is, I only ever carry one key when I'm in the car, unless I'm going a very long way...

J/k, it was an IAM ride. You're more than welcome to join up, there's a new course starting shortly. Be cool to see you there.

As we always ride two-up, I carry the spare key and alarm fob. No-one at home to get the spare to us, and if we're two hundred odd miles away, which we often will be on a ride, it would take a while in any case

For us, it's as important to carry the alarm fob as the spare key. A friend had the battery die in his with no warning, and he was totally f**ked. Had to have the bike recovered, and ruined what had started out to be a good day for him.

My spare is at home but I keep meaning to stick it on the ring with the alarm blipper and other keys (which aren't attached to the bike key) so that if I did lose it or break it I'd still have a key to start the bike.

The risk of me losing my keys is very small - it would be like losing a leg!

No really - I hook them onto one of my crutches when they're not in the boke - and I kinda need them to walk my keys are always with me.
OK, apart from the time I left the key in the ignition whilst on teh boat over to Calais, but hey, it was my first time touring abroad and I have alot on my mind - like how the hell to get myself and gear up the flippin stairs and out of the hold!
