Do everything myself

Not really - Hubby does it (and his own, and the car and the van - he is a mechanic by trade)

My bike courier told me 10 mins, took me 60 mins but thats with trial and error. First I tightened it too tight then back to where it was. The chain has a tight spot so alot of tooing and froing was done but I think I'm happy with it. I'll soon find out if I've done it right when I go to Soho later.

It's not hard but it helps to have someone with you who's done it and can give you helpful pointers. Good luck!

Note of caution.................the chain wear indicators on a pointy can turn with the nut if you're not careful and score your swingarm, and don't overtighten the nut again. The son of a mate of ours has a pointy, and tightened the nut so much he bowed the indicator plate.

Aaaaagh B******s that was my problem. Every time I tightened the bolt the indicator plate rotated a bit and gave a false reading. Hope it's alright?!!

Yeah..............bandit's are the same as the pointy. That's how we know.............Pete did it when he tried to help a friend adjust his chain on a virtually brand new bandit. Luckily, he was a good friend...he just shrugged.
