Must be my camera, checked the pic I took of the Repsol 07 Fireblade at the NEC as well and the base colour looks really dark as well, almost black.

Is your Blade the same colour blue, cos it looks black in your pics.

Yay, some one else who can finally confirm that my Blade is BLUE!

Yeah, I wheeled one of our display Repsol Blades out into the sun to prove to the sales guys that it was actually blue over a year ago. They thought it was a mettalic black and wondered why I was whittering on about getting my Blade 'painted in the Repsol Blue'...

... daft beggars thought I mean the shoddy leccy blue that the Repsol CBR 125 is painted in. Dumbasses.

I'll grant that it looks black to the untrained eye even in the flesh. Though those artists and designers amongst us would be able to tell the difference when put up against a black bike - I know, its stablemate was my Black SVs. But once it's out in the sun, or in a spotlit arena its true colour shows through.

I love the 07 fireblade, a boootiful bike, i got same pic as law but different angle. Will have to rob a bank to get one, and what a good time to do it with the prisons full .
