We had a couple of JR's livin next door to me and the owner let them have free roam of the front garden which is surrounded by a low fence. One day I was walkin out the door with my dog ( a very large but loveable staffy called travis) and the younger male jumped over the fence and ran across my garden and lunged at travis clamping onto the side of his face and travis just tried to get behind me, the little scraggy JR kept stuck to my dogs face (the owner was watching this saying no bobby thats naughty!! - silly beatch!!) I then did the only reasonable thing I could do and booted the said JR across my front garden and said to the neighbour 'if he does it again I'm lettin travis off the lead and let him deal with the ****in dog!!'.Needless to say she tried to get police/rspca involved the day after and just by chance my other neighbour testified that the JR is a menace to society and saw it bite my dog and that my dog behaved like a big softie and that he had also seen the JR go for kids walkin past the front gate on their way to school. The JR is no longer available for questioning!! What a shame!!

So the JR was put down because of the owner's irresponsible attitude?

Now my JR, is a nasty vicious dog and attacks me and only me on a regular basis. My hands and slippers are fair game and he tries to pull me down the stairs. Still I am the only one who will scrap with him, every one else keeps telling him to sit down when he wants to play.

When my granddaughter was here a few weeks ago, the other grandparent turned up to take her, and had a brew and chatted without Jasper having any issues. The other grandfather then tried to pick up Ruby and Jasper went mental. Not just barking but ears back, teeth bare, snarling. Fortunately Chris also is a doggy person and understood Jasper was doing his job and did not know Chris. I picked up Ruby and gave her to Chris. He was still the barking, but with far less aggression. He is a very jealous dog when it comes to the grand kids. Whenever people make a fuss of them, he will sit on my knee and demand that I make a fuss of him. Even though he is very tolerant of being pulled, nipped and poked by babies, I would never trust him. Whenever they cry, he goes to them looks and runs to me.

He is a very territorial. He is currently sat in the front window barking at the window cleaner across the road. That is our biggest problem with him. Anybody within 100 yards of the house is fair game for Jasper. If he gets it into his head to run down the drive there is no way we can catch him. (New gates are currently on order and supposedly lost by the courier). Whenever we walk him, we have to keep his attention with play if any joggers etc run by.

That is Jasper for you. A nutter who enjoys swinging on his rope and will not let go. He has twice gone for foxes whilst out on his walk. As for bigger dogs. No problem. He will kill them as he rips their throat from the inside if they want to try it on.

It is usually the little ankle biters that have problems with Jasper, they tend to be vicious little yappy monsters. Jas will go to say hello and they snap and snarl. So two can play at that game.

So when does the Macclesfield Chipwrapper come out then? Are we going to see a story about this brutal attack?

I mean, what if it had been a child etc etc

In this instance yes and I do feel bad that one of gods creatures born innocent and not an ounce of evil was spoiled by a human being who didnt know how to bring it up, but when it comes down to jumping into MY garden and attacking MY dog on his lead and then find out it has gone for several children going past the house (which didnt really surprise me), I would consider it dangerous and if it had been my dog in the decision there wouldn't have been much pity from most folk.

The misses parents have a big rot (Zues) and it is scared of everything including a little jack Russell who live near him. One day the jr went for Zeus and apparently he was just sitting there with the little thing hanging of his face not sure what to do.
