I don't display the tax on my ktm, the holder would just get ripped off whenever I went down a muddly lane! Always carry it with me though and never had a problem!

I had a right ding dong with post office last time.... vowed I would never step foot in there again, and walked out giving them the finger and using unpleasant words!
They would not accept my insurance documents, even if the broker faxed it to them & spoke to them on the phone to confirm it. Bunch of hitlers, jobs worths, jumped up tossp*ts ...... grrrrrr Its that bl**dy awful uniform that they have to wear, I would be a grumpy cow as well if I had to wear that all day ![]() rant over |

Yes I belived it had to be the original copy of the Insurance certificate. They are usualy on watermarked paper., because when you cancel your insurance you have to return that certificate. It is done to stop people taxing cars whilst not having insurance. Doesn't mean they can't cancel it the moment they leave the post office though.

Well the verdict is in and my local post office now does appear to accept d/l insurance documents. A little worrying as i could have made it myself with minimal effort. That said i am glad my mate can ride legally now
![]() The woman had a quick glance and seemed satisfied and issued the disc. Funny thing though....it was the same woman who refused me last time i tried. I was going to kick up a fuss...but laziness intervened! |

Its actually funny you should say that as they do have a few seats and what could be liberally called a patisserie.
