All that without a single crash

Ok, so at the height of my career I WAS crashing once every two weeks, and my controller had a theory that in order to get round a corner I bumped into stuff until I was pointing in the right direction...

So my mile to crash ration is probably roughly breaking even..

But who's counting?

Hmm, maybe I should include this information in all those "Filtering advice required" threads...

About 25,000 25 plus years ago, then since born again 20,000 on a divvy, plus 7,000 on my SV, total 52,000 (about).

I used to do about 8 to 10K a year when I lived in the midlands and although I had a full car licence bikes were my only real transport from age 18 to 27 when my bikes were stolen. Lived using smaller old bikes for 7 years doing about 3 to 4K a year before stopping till last March, and a whisker under 14K since then.

Add all that up and it comes to.... err... lots

Crashes, oh dear, err... around eight

excluding sports injuries (club racing, enduro, scrambling even one doing classic trials(fell off and broke y wrist) ) I can think of only 11, if you say I've forgotten another 9 that's twenty.

think that works out at 1 per 75,000 miles or so, but that is way ball park

Cheers Mark.
