Well I'm not really sure where I flew, I ended up fairly straight on the road, but when I looked back, the merc had already turned, so I may have gone over the side as it started to turn. One's memory doesn't seem to log the actual flight, bit of a shame really!

I always think the best way to look at this is to concentrate on the fact that you had a prang which could have been much worse,and walked away.The experience will live on,and you are unlikely to ever do it again.
Oh and the GSXR front will be a big improvement too.

Sorry to hear about that, good that you had the gear on and are ok.

If an insurance company were involved, that would be a write off. Mine had much less damage but was still written off as uneconomical to repair. But for you on TPFT, thats another matter, your decision. I fixed mine up and just regard the damage on the tank and can as "character". Then again I didn't bend the front forks, so thats your main decision, do you want to change them yourself, and are you happy the frame itself isn't bent?

oh warthog just seen this sh#t man the main thing is your ok, it looks like the insurance co will write the bike off with that damage, tis a bastward when your TPF+T!! this is what i'm going through at the moment but i dont hold out much hope of recovering funds sadly my new bike is now comprehensive. best bet is to fix the bike up yourself with bits from ebay.

He can't claim for his bike so they wont be writing anything off. What he does with the bike is up to him.

i say fix, it its easy to chuck them away when they break, i worked to damm hard for mine to do that, it might take some time with money and all but the satisfaction of riding it when it is all fixed up is ace. get fully comp next time tho

Yeah because in you case you're claiming for your bike off of the third parties insurance. In Warthogs case the third party is claiming off of his insurance.
