I took a video last night of a Gixer Thou pulling away from rest in 6th. I wouldn't have liked to line the SV up against him (I'd have nailed him to 60 but after that...)
It was tuned (~175bhp @ Rear wheel) and I think 1 off front and 2 on rear. Still... Feckin' impressive |

![]() The Sv's true top speed will be no greater than about 130mph, and thats modified and pusing it a bit. The speedo is very arong at anything above 120, sometimes nearer 15%, so keep dreaming. You cant beat Physics. Even on a dyno with no wind resisitance, the SV will just top 130 and thats not still a true speed. |

on a track I've seen an indicated 167 on my SV'thou, but I reckon thats closer to 140 than 160. I've got a couple of extra teeth on the back sprocket, so I'm slower than a standard, but faster from a standing start
