It's the deer I worry about, there seems to be plenty around in Sussex, I guess it's their nesting season, and they have other things on their minds...
having hit one at 60/65mph in a car hard enough to push the rad onto the engine, I don't like to think what it's like on a bike.. even dead ones lying in the road look scarey .
There used to be a wild life scaring whistle type thing, to bolt on to cars etc anyone know if you can still get them or if they work?

If the bird had just lost his head and the rest of him was pretty much undamaged I'd have taken him home and eaten him cause I love Pheasant - thats just me though

Did you get any cool pics of dead bird?

I regularly run over suicidal bunnies on a Sunday morning. They just don't learn.

Mr Wolf has been shat on by a large heron if that counts?

A girl I know from another site was knocked off her CBR last year by a big doo. It hit her right on the side of the head, shoved her off balance and she ended up underneath a Transit coming the other way. The bike was trashed and she had some pretty bad damage done to her hip and shoulder, ended up in hospital for quite a while. She's riding again but still has a lot of pain.

I reckon it's just your Donald what hits you and how badly you come off. Rabbits make a really 'orrible mess of your wheels and if you hit a bee at *cough*mph with your jacket unzipped it'll REALLY fecking hurt...

I hit one at similar speeds (30mph, honest officer*). It actually hit on my left arm, just inside the elbow. Saw the fscker bounce off in front of me too. Damn that stung, and no, not because the bee was mightily p*d off, though I suspect the poor chap had a serious headache.

*I was in an NSL zone, I wasn't paying attention to the speedo, the trees were whizzing past far too quickly
