I`m with sv_dan, sorry, Kwakadan. They can`t prove anything. I`ve been pulled a couple of times, passed a stationary police car and further up the road i pulled over to wait for my brother not realising they were giving chase, they couldn`t prove i was testing what is commonly know as "the speed limit, sir?" so just told me to calm down a bit. Another time i was pulled doing 100+ on the M25 in very light traffic and not riding dangerously so again was told just to calm down. I think it all depends on circumstances and demeaner if and when pulled, although if i was aware of being chased i don`t think i would run as it can make things a whole lot worse

As much as I'd love to say A, it's definitely B.
They can't prove I was speeding so I reckon I'll be OK.

Any of the other options and sure they might not catch me, but they might manage to read my plate, and if the car's got video I'm stuffed.

im not going to give them the chance to discuss it with me............from ecperience the police can generall y prove anything they damn well want to, im not going to enter into discussion so i choose A, then maybe a bit of the other options, but not shoot down the first side road you see, pick one thats not long and straight or theyll see you as you sneal off.

i like the idea of turning round and going back at them, , could end up like the chicken scen in footloose..........

I've done C once before gone past em they've braked stuck the blinkers on turned round. I've shot off quickly, turned the lights off and turned into a street and parked on someones drive Only because i'd bin in town sozzled 3 hours before and was just about sober enough to ride!

Normaly i would probably use B just to re-itterate the fact that they have no proof that i was speeding and that they are merely wasting theirs and others time. If it is a traffic cop i'm sure the only way they can tell is by following you isn't it? Therefore u say i wasnt speeding officer, what made you think that and do you have any evidence for this? Do it all with a nice smile

I did do B - it was a Police Motorbike. He caught us up, and then just followed, didn't pull us.

Phew!

As Captain Nemo says, if there's two of them, they don't need one of their woefully innaccurate electronic devices to guage your speed. The word of 2 of them is evidence enough. Of course, one may well be starring out the side window eyeing up totty at the time, or taking a nap, but that won't stop many of them from corroborating their mate's guestimate of your speed.
