and yes, it irritates me too when ppl take jurno tripe as dogma An R6 will ALWAYS beat a SV given like for like rider/conditions!! There is a massive void between the ability and agility of a SuperSport bike and an SV, they truly are a world apart!!!

The 750 is the best of both worlds. its the better bike out of all 3. Against the thou, the 750 is slightly slower, better handing, cheaper to insure...however if you are small in the trouser area, then a thou is a must

Dont like the goxer 6 or the R6. Too many of them on my daily route!

Are you sure? The reason I ask is cos you'd have thought therefore that someone would have tested and outed one of the other bikes if it was as far out as the R6. You are right about it revving higher though - 16,200rpm according to the following link, at least. Out of interest, what does the rev counter read on your bike?

I also found the seat really low on the GSXR. I know you can play around with the ride height, but I felt oversized (about 6ft) on the GSXR.
To be honest I can't remember the R6 tank, but the GSX-R tank has bits at the top that help you lock your leg to the tank. The side panels don't seem that convex - flat maybe. It is a low bike though - one of the reasons I got it, as I'm 5'9"!

The PB test was a weird one, the SV did outrageously well... So did the F800. They do it on a marked-out track at Bruntingthorpe, I suppose it's possible that the SV's extra-special sponge suspension helps out on the really bad stuff But more likely it was something in the testing, different rider or conditions, or somesuch. Or someone put a decimal place in the wrong place in the time.

Or Svs are just one of the quickest bikes out there Ever.

PS it was a curvy they tested as they knew this was the fastest model.

Yeah. perhaps?!!?!!

I have never liked racing in the wet to be honest, but it's amazing what you can do on a set of full wets If like me you have spent many many years on the road on cheap/rubbish road tyres, its hard to re-calibrate your brain to full wets ... I think that is why I have never enjoyed/prospered in wet racing ...
