I disagree. If it's one line & tiny then yes, all that you say applies, but if it's one line & perfectly readable from a distance then I would hope the copper would be reasonable about it subject to everything else on your bike & riding style.

Read that & my interpretation of the word "Requirements" would be minimum requirements.

Lots of cars have 4 headlamps guess they're not illegal either.

i was looking at mine last night, it was parked up with a few other bikes & TBH IMO mine was the clearest........... apart from the 1 bike that had the origanl 9x7
