I got my peg down! WooHoo!

If you're riding a bike where the peg isn't folding up when you ground it, be careful. It's creating a fulcrum point to lift one of the wheels off the ground and as soon as that happens you're toast obviously. Also, weight going down through the peg is weight not pushing the tyres into the tarmac.

I got my peg down twicw on the trackday i did, wasnt even TRYING to do that! was scary stuff! but cool though.

I'm sure that, for the benefit of any officers of the law, you appreciate that the SV speedo can be up to 30mph out, especially when its indicating 100mph.

And for those that were stating higher speeds, well that inaccuracy gets worse the closer to 70 you get, doesnt it boys (and girls)

Actually, I was told by Mr Suzuki's best friend's sister's boyfriends brother's girlfriend that the SV is actually restricted to 70mph, they just let the speedo carry on racking up figures to give the riders something to look at

didnt you read about the guy who was boasted on tinternet about his speeds, and got nicked for it ?

i love gettin the pegs down! its great, but yesterday i went to far, sniffle, so shes in the shop. as far as the speed goes, i got my k6 up 139 too, and she still had a little more in her. i came up on some traffic and had to take evasive action though.
