I can highly recommend a Ducati 900 Monster if you're after a fast V-Twin. 900cc's of grunt and that Ducati badge. Erm.............along with dodgy electrics, a hatred for rain and dodgy reliability.

KWAK:-

"This is something i have to look into, i mean i turned up the idle to 1400rpm and took her out for a spin today and she feels like a different bike sound stupid but she feels better already now shes not on the verge of cutting out, thing is with the suspension i dont know enuf to start messing with it?"

I used some settings off the SV1000portal suspension settings guide and it made a big difference. I just found someone the same weight as me and with similar riding situation.
Just write down what you've done and reverse it if it doesn't work ; then try something else.
HTH Joe.

My advice to anyone looking to change, is take the bike out for a test ride if possible. Make up your own mind from there. It's a great place here to start to get a short list together from bods who have moved from the SV.

I went the gixer route (K6) and love it. A lot different to the SV in many respects. Take your time to get used to it and respect that throttle and you will be rewarded.

Good luck.
