My car & bike.

The car has done about 2000 miles this year, the bike covers about 1000 miles a month.
I have to have my fix of biking every day or I go in a sulk (sad, but true)

Well my Vectra SRI 150 puts out 150 bhp and 320Nm of torque (Like the imperial/SI mix?) what the feck is 110kW.

The gsxr 600 is only 115 BHP (83 of those kW things) and only 69 Nm of torque

Difference is I bought the Gixxer, the Vectra belongs the company. would I buy the Vectra. NFC.

I have the SV at 70ish BHP, the Ducati Monster at 82ish BHP and a diesel focus at 90BHP. The car gets me and the wife about and the bike gets me and me only about much quicker than the car. To me there's no point having a quick car if you've got a bike to have the fun on.

Car number 1 is a shed. It never gets driven, it stays parked outside the house so we can guarantee getting the bike in and out of the front door.

Car number 2...............also a shed. It does the job for shopping though.

The REAL love of our lives.

Well bike and car below:

Car is quicker than the bike over 80, as it has 280hp, 4 times the power, 4 times the number of driven wheels, cost 1.8 times as much to buy, uses twice as much fuel, costs 4 times more to insure, and only makes me smile about half as much (which is still a lot).

Keep thinking about getting more off a shed, but putting down the power in the damp is truly amazing. And I like to be able to overtake in the car as if I was on the bike

Car is a 1.6 Astra Dull, Dull, Dull.
Until i got the bike I averaged about 22000 miles a year in my cars

Bike is a K3S in ginger.
Comparitivly its probably on a par with the Astra but dull it aint.
Car mileage is now down to about 12000 and bike mileage is about the same.

After 2 years i am starting to lust after more POWER!

Exactly Tim. If you have be stuck in a cage, at least get one that tries to emulate the bike in the 'fun' department. Nice clean car, unlike mine bearing an inch of insect based crud on the bumper and mirrors just now.
