I'll start this by saying that from the AR, I know you're a good guy & ride sensibly (or did when you were behind me anyway). However...

You can buy CHEAP armoured textiles that you can then recycle or give to a charity shop etc later. By cheap I mean £50 or under, and they'll be more beneficial than tracky bottoms.

How much are your legs worth to you? There's a thread in Photo's about always wearing your gear. Please go & look at the pictures in it.

I'm glad you're OK mate, but try not to overtake on roundabouts, car drivers always do silly things there!!!

You said there was a lesson in it, the only thing that matters now is that you learn from it instead of ignoring it.

Tracky bottoms! Why not just ride naked!

Glad you're ok, but never go out in anything less than jeans. Preferably something padded.
(Or at least get some strap-on armour to put over your knees or something)

Try and assume that all of the cage drivers are out to kill you, and that might hopefully avoid too many more of these situations

I can't seem to make head or tail of what you did there, so just be chilled and carefull and get some protection!

Oh come on. Look at the admitted speed. Suitable for road conditions? No. Definitely not. Plowsie, you have only yourself to blame.

Plowsie, glad you got away with it all considering....

Argh...I hate round about muppets but that's one thing you have to watch out for.

If I read that right, the car didn't do a thing wrong, just used the whole lane... Could be that I've misunderstood though.

You can pick up cheap textile trousers for about £30 fair enough they're not the greatest but they'll do better than tracky bottoms
