Funnily enough Steve - that's the same as me. I am an essential car user since I'm the main First Aider and quite often have to do my big white taxi bit. That and the fact that I often have to fetch and carry engineering supplies etc..... It's not working out too well.

Still trying to figure out a way of making it happen for the day - especially since I should be off to our IAM meeting after work...... now maybe if my SV transformed into a Goldwing or the like for the day

I was going to and all geared up and then remeber I'm at a meeting with the head bummer and its frowned upon if i turn up to meeting on a bike and I don't need to be rocking the boat at the moment - if you catch my drift!!

call me a cynic, but who else reckons local councils will put on extra traffic wardens today to raise some $$$ from all the bikers who are unable to get into a parking bay cos there are so many extra bikes...

Bugger - I've seen this too late having already driven to work.

As for the commute on a bike or not thing - sorry don't have the cash to trash by wearing my bike's rubber etc out on the M1.

He he!

First day I've had to take public transport in for a month! Some work's product launch thing I have to be at. Shall I assume a weekend worrier has taken my "slot" commuting into work? My parking space looks fine
