There are better and worse twins and triples and fours and singles and every other configuration out there.
Just having a given amount of cylinders isn't a good decider as to whether I like any particular bike or not.

I prefer twins but I'll be getting a 4 cyl litre (or bigger) bike next. Putting down the power from a litre v-twin on the road doesn't thrill me, especially in the wet and cold. A 4 cyl makes it easier to load the tyre smoothly. I'll miss the grunt the SV650 has, but a litre+ 4 cyl will have more grunt.
