when i had my CBR i had a race can on it and i pulled up at the lights on the way back from a meet and a copper was standing by the side of the road, he came over asked where all the bikes were coming from, i told him and he just said nice bike and take it easy, but as people have said it all depends on the copper and the type of day he/she is having.

Not sure there is a way to make my bike quiet..... that said I've not had any trouble (touches wood)

Worst noise pollution was when my little rd125Lc blew all the fiberglass out of it's race exhaust on the way to Southhampton. That was truly offensive.

wondering from the topic a bit. My friend had a rx-7 with ls1 corvette engine and he had an electronic butterfly valve in the exhaust to change between a nice muffled v8 sound to an omg what the heck is coming at me. Has anyone ever done such a thing on a bike
