prefer the newer look of the pointy, but the curvy sv650s is a mini TL1000s ( in terms of looks etc..) and i love TL's but thats a different thread
summit about the curvy and hence bought one! |

If the K3 onwards had retained the curvy frame, it would be for me a very difficult bike to beat in it's class aesthetically. The aluminium frame on the K3's is the main visual focal point which for me is wrong. It does though look way better in black as that tones it down a whole lot.IMHO.
I bought the K3 more for the advancements that the model had over the curvey although in truth at the time I preferred the curvey look. |

Which one do you like the look of best ?
Personally I prefer the pointy to ride, the seating position is for me much better and offers a more commanding view of the road ahead as you'er sat up higher than you are on the curvey. I also think the pointy's better to ride as the motor is a tiny wee bit more responsive. Both of those bikes to me, look OK, as long as its been serviced dont be put of by milleage, in fact its better IMHO to buy a bike with higher milleage thats been used regularly than a bike with low miles thats been stood for along time not being ridden.

the curvy must have been left standing for a long time
has it been serviced yearly or just on the miles? as it will only have had 2 services over the 5-6 years, Quote:
