The lad i bought the bike off told me about it, as he had posted it on here in the for sale section, since then i've found it very informative and met some jolly nice fellows off here

And i've become well and truly loved for my sheer comic genius status

I was bored....
Actually, I was looking for another SV as I crashed my first and stumbled onto the site via either Yahoo or Google.....

Ping is happy about this as Roger lives again

After being told I was too short for a proper bike by a 'helpful' salesman at Orrell motorcycle centre, nr Wigan, he playfully suggested i try an SV 650 with the words 'you wanna get an SV 650 mate, lot of shortarses and women ride them' and so my quest began, via google tbh, to find out more about the bike for the vertically challenged and feminine amongst us.So thats Orrell motorcycle centre nr wigan then for helpful and honest advice.

Was it in a mysterons style voice saying "We know you can hear us earthling...", or was that just me?

I searched the web using alta vista of all things. Bah, how far back to do I go! I still remember having to use the first version of the forum. Those were the days...
