I'm sure someone in politics tried black shirts once.

Clearly a simple choice. Birthday suit pink. You could organise a naturist BBQ to celebrate the election win

No there shouldn't, because they're all ****s

I can't see why Gordon Brown is suddenly so good - this is a guy who sold out his principles and laid low for 10 years twiddling his thumbs so you-know-who could run amok. Now he's in, has he gone back to the original labour principles that Blair abandoned? No, he's singing the same tune. The worst bit about this election is that whoever you choose, they'll do very similar things

That's voting.

Ive only ever voted once and that was when i turned 18 and it was a novelty thing to do.

Since then ive learnt that whoevre gets in it makes no difference. This country runs a basic 2 horse ace with a 3rd on the fringe that justifies the line "giving your vote to them is a lost vote...you need to vote for X to make sure Y gets kicjed out"

Modern democracy is a sham to make us believe that we have any say over what Govts do. WHoever gets in they are the New Establishment and have to look after the rich who helped them wn the elcetion.

Now if Screaming Lord Such was still about, or even his party for that matter, i'd definately vote for him!

I'd have to completely disagree with you there. A democratic government reflects the population who elected them. In that respect we have every say in what the government does.

Anyone not exercising their right to vote, then has no right to make any political comment in my view. A non vote acting as a protest does not wash.

I have the right to vote in U.K. general elections but on principle I do not as any vote I make affects those actually living in the U.K. and not directly myself. I think my option to vote when living overseas is wrong.
