Also looked at the 'Fareham'.... seems a nice simple menu at 10 quid each, might need to scope it out a bit first.

I think the speedy one is right, keep it localish to you guys then it makes it simpler getting there and back again.

I'm not particularly fussed where we go, but my Christmas meal criteria are

1. Stuff face with Turkey.
2. Get Drunk.

Anymore than that is a bonus IMHO>

Well I'll keep my eyes open... Though Fizz as your in Somerset do you have a preference to location as if its in Portsmouth area you have the furthest to travel.

We will stay at my parents in Portsmouth when ever it is so we won't have to travel.

Prefer a venue closer to Soton as I'm t'other side of Soton Water.
