Dizzyblondes fellers cagiva V raptor 1000, titanium M4 cans, not a lot of packing or anything in them.
Sets car alarms off and rattles the house. ![]()

Best sounding v-twin is another matter entirely. My old Harley sounded fantastic. I heard a great sounding SV thou at Soho Massive - think it was Mr Toads - with a really lovely deep rumbling v-twin sound. Same engine as the TL, but sounded a thousand times better. Loud doesn't always equal great sounding. Last edited by wyrdness; 28-10-07 at 11:53 AM. |

The loudest I have ever heard was Leamington Spa High street, a Hell's Angel type guy on a custom chopper, with what I swear was just no can at all, tore off from the lights, absolutely tearing the air (you know, like a jet engine afterburner). Completely illegal and really painful too.

Year. Loud rumble- good. Ear piercing cracks- bad. Tbh alot of thous suffer from this, so I prefer the 650 sound

well my tl1000s has micron end cans on it which had lost most of there packing and has no baffles in it that was recorded at 122db at bedford raceway when i took it for a sound test to see if i could use it on a track day. It failed. On another note the first time i showed up the thames vally meet one of the guys actually thought it had started to thunder when i started it up and was worried about the lightning affecting his ride home. I think the loudest v-twin ive ever heard would be some chopper of some kind with no cans on it although i have seen a video of a tls with cut down pipes and no cans at all. I bet that is stupid loud and probably sounds horrible too.
