Ive got a good one to look forward to! Im Riding from RAF Fylingdales (Whitby) to Barnsley every 4 days... thats along the A169, over the moors Oh NOES!

Seen -3 already... EEEK

I stay warm(ish) by wearing:-

Upper= Shirt, jumper, MCN (keeps out wind), full wool under suit (RAF pilot issue - im not a pilot ) and textile jacket.

Lower= Jeens, full wool under suit and textile trousers.

That full wool under suit is SOOOOO warm its brilliant. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VINTAGE-RAF-CO...QQcmdZViewItem

I have a pair of heated gloves but my left hand one seems to have given up on me. Just my luck!

Nice one! Hope it works out.

Keep me posted.

I was actually very lucky with mine... My Aunt works in a Charity shop and for some reason they got one through, she thought of me and so i got it for nothing .

Yea i travel home on my days off, especially in the winter there is nacker all to do here except play on the internet n sleep. Great in summer, some excellent roads! Whitby to scarborough road is VERY rollercoaster like .

Should try to get some .orgers to whitby to meet up, there are regular meets on thursdays through summer at the train station...

Anyhow i digress. Golf no... cant stand it, but i can kinda understand why you ask, there seems to be a lot of golfers in the place... My sport is powerlifting at the moment

T'is quite pleasant today. Granted I have had to replace the shorts with the longer Bermuda version. The lack of rain makes it quite a bracing yet an environment where properly protect it should be quite nice.

Shhhhhhh. We are all hard men up here. Don't shatter the illusion.

Besides which. if a tad bracing. you have somewhere to hang the ironing. So less work for you looking for hangers
