Re: The TV Mini Mehga thread.
I think I might have to reconsider my previous "its not so snowy" stance. I managed to drive in to work today, but I am the only one, and I nearly crashed. No roads have been gritted since yesterday, I think they must have run out. The A34 was at a crawl and once I got onto the cross country roads I had to crawl along in 1st or second up and down hills. I was driving along one stretch of road at about 20mph and my car just rotated 90 degrees. I ****ing shat myself. I actually had to do hand over hand opposite lock, which pulled it back, went a bit far the other way which I countered and then gripped again. Absolutely shat myself, its the first time I've had to ever correct a massive slide. Gives me an insight into Ape and Dan's crashes; it is possible for you to be going straight along, no change in speed or direction and then your whole bike or luckily car for me just swivel on you.
Now I am at work but noone else is and I think I might be getting snowed in cos it hasn't stopped snowing. |

So you're at work.... in the car.....it's snowing....but.... the important question is....
Is the carpark empty? |

Re: The TV Mini Mehga thread.
I parked my car at the top of my hill last night knowing it was going to snow. I left for work at 6am and got to work at 7. It was an entertaining drive and I enjoyed it. The car park was deserted when I got in. Everyone that lives west of Newbury has just been told to go home because of the predicted weather. Not that many from that direction actually made it into work this morning.
