But you did so well at that time of the morning Viney! I didn't see you getoff your bike so forgot what you looked like or are you like The Stig? Loved the pipes on your bike mate, looked and sounded awesome.

We set off nearer 9 and we had very long breaks (which were nice and relaxing).

But a later start would be nice, although I work weekend evenings so long rideouts might mean cutting it a bit fine for me.

the Ride down to the chalet was like a slow speed convoy though, no wonder Mark passed us on the scoot! The only problem with really big rideouts is you can spend a lot of time queued up for the overtakes. So we split off after breakfast did a slightly different route, but made it back meet up with you lot for icecream.

that was due to a very very slow horse box and no spaces for overtaking until the dual carriageway part.

I prefer a ride to a destination, there for an hour or two, then ride back.

I think the problem was I could not put your face to the bike.....I ended up talkign to lots of people but not really knowing who they were or what they were riding.....except Rictus. No one could forget him!

Glad everyone seems to have enjoyed the rideout.

Sorry i didn't make it i had some restless sleep saturday night and didn't fancy the ride up from Portsmouth.

Just had a look at the pics too they look fantastic
