Will have a go at printing one as it would make using the Minolta 16s so much easier! Problem is that my printer doesn't handle bridging very well.

Just had a look at Minolta prices. Some of them are way too high but I suppose it's what people are prepared to pay.
If you are after one, XD5 bodies sometimes come up at around £30 - £40.

Not after one in particular, but if it came up then I probably wouldn't say no. Going to do a car boot on sunday if the weather holds. I think people are jumping on the film bandwagon and ramping up prices. Guess we got in to it (or fell into it) at the right time.

I picked up an X-GM for the lens, battery holder and strap. The lens was an f2 so I popped it on the black x300 and put the f1.7 onto the x700. The strap had one of those Minolta battery holders on it which I didn't spot straight away. Also picked up a Yashica Electro FC and an Agfamatic 100 as it had a 126 cart inside. I have split it open and thankfully the backing paper is inside. Will reload with colour film.

A good score again today. Don't know much about either the Yashica or the Minolta but looking on the web, they both seem like decent cameras.
Is the Yashica auto or is there a manual option too?

It's aperture priority. Takes stupid batteries so I put two lr 44s and a load of foil in. Seems to work and respond ok. It was a local camera. I had a bid in on an Olympus like Johnny had but it got cancelled. Oh well.

Maybe worth comparing the Yashica's meter reading (if there is one) with another camera. According to what I've read, there can be up to a couple of stops of difference whenusing alkalines in place of mercury batteries.
What Olympus were you bidding for?
I decided to put the 35rc on ebay. 700 views in 5 days and 31 watchers. Didn't realise they were so popular.

It will probably go for a decent amount. I need to add one to the collection. I could always compensate by adjusting the iso.

I'd still like one, but preferably one with a working meter. I've been vaguely looking but they tend to go for upwards of £45 at a minimum. I think the Ricoh is a decent substitute though so I'll make do with that for the moment.
I put some films in for processing today. Still got another 3 films in different cameras to finish off as well.

Car booting again tomorrow. Back to a local one as I can't be bothered to go too far.
