Had to drive to Newtown this morning at about 10am, and the temperature never got above 11C. Coming back a short while ago, it reach a tropical 14C.

Just back from visiting The Monkey for the night and was hoping to make use of the nice forecast and get outside for the afternoon. Of course this means we drove through a monsoon to get back, everything is sopping wet in the garden, and it looks likely to pour down again any moment. Great.

Same here Trevor. I need to clear and level and area in the garden for a greenhouse I'm collecting on Tuesday, but every time I try to get out it pours with rain.

Half my garden lawn is in the process of being rewilded, just let the grass grow, benefits. - saves time mowing, used to take 3 hours to do it properly, saves fuel, its an education watching it slowly being colonized by different wild flowers and the subsequent extra insect life.
It does take some mental effort to come to terms with its changed appearance though ! |
