Slow is an expression of opinion. I would have said it's f in slow...

But it'll do a zillion miles to the tank and very comfortably too.

Hell I could even swap subframes and put a proper seat & battery box on. And a the less manky tank with the smaller dint.

But let's not get silly here.

Come on Sosha, stop fannying about with radiators and skirting boards and do some propper tinkering. give the rat the love and attention it deserves . Sounds like one evenings work to me. Does it still have a load of gaffa stuck all over the front?

I bottled it when I got to 180 and filled up. I didn't fancy running out on the M40. Tis comfy indeed. bit noisy but I think I'm gonna rivet an old visor to the top of the screen to flip the wind over my head.

My lack of height I did not have to worry about that. The wind already went over my head. When I first got the bike I stuck a 5 litre can in the top box and ran it dry. It did 230 miles. This was with an average pace of 60 on A and B roads and 80 on the motorway. By the way, I have the larger panniers if you want them. Not the same colour as the exquisite colour of the rest of the bike but they are yours if you want them.

I'd love em mate. Just spend 20min trying to cram all my crap for the weekend into the small ones without them opening of their own accord. i don't want my suit ending up somewhere on the motorway!

Drop me a PM with how much you want for em and i'll pop over one evening. Oh, and best let me know where you are hiding these day You are hard to keep track of Heir Ape!

By the end of the evening tonight the panniers will be back in my possession. I don't want anything for them. They are yours already. I just did not have them to hand to give you when you collected the bike. If you are around the Newbury area next weekend, give me a shout and you'll be able to come and get them. I'll PM you the address if you confirm.

You are aware it's just the bigger lids you'll be getting? Those standard panniers are next to useless. The bigger lids give you considerably more room but are still a bit poo. You could take your lids off before you come round and we'll bolt the bigger ones straight on. Just make sure you bring the bolts you take off the original lids.
