Yes, those are the same type of newer digital average speed cameras that were installed on the Cat & Fiddle last year to replace the older type from the late 2000s. The new ones are also in common use across North Wales.

I believe the extra boxes on the masts are IR lights to capture number plates in the dark.

This. We had a rat problem and the pest guy told us to block any holes in building fabric with balled up chicken wire mesh until properly repaired. *******s were getting in the cavity wall though a missing brick next door, that had been removed by some plumbers.....

Not "shouldn't" but "must not"..... It is illegal to release a grey into the wild as it is decimating the Red Squirrels by out competing for food and infecting them with squirrel pox. Grey squirrels are also causing damage to woodlands as they have a habit of stripping the bark of trees.

The greys must be eradicated to protect the dwindling Red squirrel population. Your four prisoners should have been despatched humanely rather than released.

I bought an air rifle a couple of years back. Useful for this kind of thing.

If you kill them then don't waste them. The meat is very good, dark, very little fat, not gamey, but full of flavour. Eat them.

You could have them as an hors d'oeuvre before eating the rich as a main course!

Gary! Tut.

Before I could get the gaps foamed I used some barbed wire balled up. The foam went on top of it so hopefully the little baskets cannot get through the combined barrier.

To get rid of the invaders that got in previously I bought some mk4 Fenn traps. Absolutely viscious things! The squirrel took the peanut butter bait and was nearly cut in two. Yikes.

Ha ha! You're probably right to tut Trevor. I suspect the rich would leave a nasty aftertaste.

The baliff on my fishing lakes has a lovely air rifle with a telescopic sight to deal with the grey tree rats. It's silenced as well, so if he misses, he'll get a second chance.

Gave me quite a fright when I saw him with this rifle.
