Re: 'Ere 'ere is the EAR Megathread
So its the middle of winter and apart from a quick blast on my brothers Street Triple (awesome bike BTW!) my bikes have sat quietly in the garage.
The Hornet is going to get a few bits powder coated before the end of Winter, rear footpeg "things" and swing arm and maybe the wheels - if I can decide on a colour... Still tempted to fit an exhaust to it but cant decide whether to do that or get a new shock... hmmm decisions... The GS needs the exhaust welding up where the downpipe joins the silencer and I will give it a coat of black paint - the salt on the roads when I went to Southwold has turned it a nice shade of brown! Anyone else got any projects going on?

Re: 'Ere 'ere is the EAR Megathread
I'm working away and missing riding my bikes, no projects for me at the moment...no funds. Probably best that I save for next November onwards as that's when the Rocket warranty is over and the real work can start on it!

Re: 'Ere 'ere is the EAR Megathread
Funds are always an issue! Hopefully the powder-coating will be under £100 (should be) and will spruce up the look of the bike. Thinking that I will probably leave the wheels as they are as they hide the muck well! Was thinking about gold but having found a picture of a blue Hornet with gold wheels I think it might look a bit gaudy...!

Re: 'Ere 'ere is the EAR Megathread
Few things to do, do the cam swap, get heel plates powder coated, change the cooling fluid.
But its too frigg'in cold to go out to the garage & I'm having tooooooo much fun riding on & off road on my push bike. I'm waiting for March & the warmer weather to do some of these jobs

Re: 'Ere 'ere is the EAR Megathread
Collected the Suzuki exhaust today - been nicely welded up - just needs a coat of VHT black paint as it currently looks like a giant brown turd Back on the road next week hopefully!

Re: 'Ere 'ere is the EAR Megathread
Managed 10 miles on the GS today and got the swingarm out of the Hornet yesterday - working on the bikes has got me all fired up to start riding properly again. Roll on dry non-salty days
