Made it back home safely from my first ever rideout and I certainly had a great time!!! 170 mile round-trip for a 50 mile rideout..........it was so worth it!!

Jon plotted a great route!! I suspect I might sneak here on my own sometime soon to enjoy it all again since I recorded every twist and turn with an app on my phone!

It was certainly nice getting to meet the folks behind the screen-names and avatars........wish I'd taken some photos though!!

Was great to meet up and put faces to names. For once the sun stayed out, even if the cold hung around too. Thanks again Svox for the barbie and LPH for the cake!

Here's the few I took. Too cold to be doing anything creative I'm afraid. Stu and Chris look very cold at the seafront!

It looked bleedy cold, fed up with this weather

But I discovered that Chris was wearing a heated waistcoat so every time I got off the bike I could warm my hands up by sticking them up his jumper to defrost. Obviously this was a one way only arrangement and before anyone tries it on, I know they don't make heated underpants!

It was quite cold sat on the road giving first aid to that cyclist, having already spent a bit of time earlier in the day sat on the drive freezing while getting the sump cover off the KTM to jump start it off the car. Considering it is a bike so tall that you have to over 6'2" to ride it, you need midget hands to remove any of the bolts on it.

Yeah, that was a heart in my mouth moment, I was a good few cars behind when it happened and just caught sight of all the commotion on the roundabout and thought one of us was involved.

I'm glad it wasn't, though I hope the cyclist is on the mend!
