Been a few years since I last went to one but I think warm up starts about 09:00, racing will be a couple of hours after that. If you're coming on a bike you should get in fairly easily but the later you are the higher the chance of being in a field rather than on hard parking, and given the weather forecast that might prove interesting...

Not sure if they still do it but there always used to be a helmet/leather park at these events. Usually a converted semi trailer which acts like a giant cloakroom.

Bike parking is usually on the huge tarmac area behind redgate and down to the entrance after the main entrance (where the Sunday market usually is). You'd be unlucky to end up parked on anything other than tarmac. First warm up is 9.40am and first race 12.30 I think. As for getting there time, I was there at 7.10am last year and it was already 2-3 deep at the fence in some places at that time (and gates didn't open until 7am apparantly). But there are still places to watch if you get there later (inside and outside of Craner has loads of space for example).

Last time I rode there, I was walking down the Curves at 7am, (Gates open on sunday at 6am) and had plenty of room to find a spot, got the black bin bags down , the polythene out and went back to sleep! (Aye it twas wet, surprise surprise)

Folk in full leathers? Plenty of other race-track refugees doing the Funky Gibbon all day.

Yes it is, You want Junction 23A, then its pretty much stay on that road until you hit Donnington.

On race day you'll have no choice once you come off the M1 as the roads will running a one way system so its just follow my leader.

If you get really stuck follow the Signs for East Midlands Airport

You wont though because it will be heaving so just follow the big queue of bikes that will be in front of you.

One tip - get there early on race day.
