Up there, meaning north of the Trossachs. Don't forget I'm a Scot whose only recently moved down to England Mabozzar.

Are you telling me the taxi firm in Killin will be able to produce another car by magic if the ones they have are taking the local lads into Perth?

That is the way it works "up there". Down here people expect there to be 5 taxi firms within 5 miles of wherever they are, with several cars each firm.

If you fancy a chippie or a takeaway there's a few places on the main street as you go though Callender, which you will have to ride past to get to the campsite.

is everyone not forgetting something...

there is somewhere to eat at the campsite and from what a cppl residents were saying its good grub. so i know where i'll be going (if its open)

We were up there on Sunday and as Bibio said, a couple of frequent visitors said that the place on site serves up a great meal.

Not sure about the hours though.
