The doc treating me in Austria says he has never seen so many injuries so early in the season, and puts it down to poor conditions, ice and the like.

Yep, give me mountains anyady.

Got 2 weeks in Whistler from the 3rd March, they've only got 295 cms at the moment, hope it all doesn't melt!

It's snow karma though, last time I went to Whistler only the top third of each mountain was open, it was their worst season ever and it rained at the top!!

Hope evryone who's off anywhere has good snow and a great injury free time, be you boarder or skier...

Was down in Les coches near La Plagne (French Alps) from 3nd Feb. had 8 days snowboarding.

Snowed before we got there & then on the Tues/Weds & a little each day after that.

Myself & the experienced skiers I went with got a little off-piste action in on the Tues & Weds.

Temp was always sub-zero.

I ended up with loads of bruises from the first few days but then I remembered how to board again so it was all good. Took my Forcefield back protector & needed it! My right hand wrist guard was completely trashed by the end of the holiday (I board goofy).

Heading off tomorrow to Whistler for my 2 weeks, can't wait, they've still got loads of snow, around 3m!! Bring on the powder. Concentrating at work today is gooing to be very tricky!
