I can't see a problem attending either date, I'm trying to get as many rides in before I go back to work in April...so we'll see

hi

well let me know when you have all decided, as I'm sure it will be the day I'm working, so I need to know so I can book the night off. Where will we be all meeting as I know I'll get lost.

Sounds good. I cannot do the feb ones (just coming to terms of being a dad) but monthly rides sound good. We could get some meeting points (times sorted) and just turn up. Can we get some suggested meeting points around Manchester, Leeds, York etc? That would be quite useful I think.

Dave that is a very good idea, however we need to be strict in the meeting times, and places of them. We could have say 2 or 3 meeting places (One for Lancs, one for Yorks & one for North East bunch) and then if we were available, could join up together to meet somewhere in the middle. A thread could be set up for each meeting point so people could post in there to say that they were or werent going that week/fortnight/month so it would just be a rolling thread.

Thanks m8. Agree with the strict times and places. Otherwise it will be more waiting/drinking cups of tea and fagging than riding. Biggest problem is that Pennine massive is so huge!

OK, who will be brave enough to suggest some meeting points? We need to agree on 4-5 (perhaps in relation to Catherine wheel as t covers a fair chunk of Pennine massive) and than suggest som times we could meet lets say every 2nd Sat/Sun?

What do people think, will we manage to get it all organised?

Would it be better to organise weekend meets or better to organise midweek events with the lighter nights??

For example the following:
Lancs - Rivvy Barn
Yorks - Squires
North East - ????? Would have said place near Croft which used to be a bit of a haven for bikes but think it closed and reopened as something different.

Obviously people who live in their own areas could suggest somewhere themselves.

if every one put there locations (not exact, just roughly) in the user map then we might get a better idea of where people are based.

Just a thought.
