Sardine man too, me! Tinned plain ones in olive oil are my usual lunchtime snack, on toasted wholemeal. Lurvely. I must get through 5 or 6 tins a week. The family complain...

+1 definitely. or tuna and cheese! Hot or cold. Although should be hot really so the cheese can melt properly and go all stringy

I'm not a great fan of sardines, once had them on toast and they weren't too bad but then I bought meself another tin and they were sat in my cupboard for months . Shame, 'cos I know they're really good for me...maybe I could get used to them eventually.

I think it's just the idea of eating a whole fish, head/brain/guts/tits/lips etc - the lot, that puts me off them.

Same with Whitebait, I just cant get my head (or gag-reflex) round that.

Actually, Mussels are Ok, I quite like them - as long as you don't actually look at them they're all good!

Cockles are wrong, especially the jars of them you get in chippies!!! Gad!!!
