I spoke to a guy once with this model fireblade, it was a french import and therefore restricted to 100bhp aswell. He couldnt find any simple way to derestrict it; it must be electronic, and therefore need a new ECU?

Does HPI work on imports? How has it got warranty? (Sorry, couldn't be bothered to read all the posts).

Even if it is dodgy I'd go to look to see if it's a ringer and try and spot some dodgy things about it. Might help you in the future. What happened with that bike in Cricklewood? Anyone volunteer to have a look for you? If not and it's still there I'll stick my head in if you want but I wouldn't know too much what I'm looking at apart from general condition, straightness and maybe wear and tear.
