also i ahve a problem i can't get it back into neutral with the gear lever gone so when i start it up in gear (1st) it starts moving forward, even with clutch in a lot more than when it did before the fall, any ideas why?

Well the clutch is obviously not engaging, so you have knocked something, most probably the lever/cable as thats what i think you said hit the ground.

Having not looked recently, i think thats a reasonable price.

Its probably worth checking completed listing on ebay for a guide.

The clutch always drags a little. I reckon it's because the oil is cold and binding the plates up. Wouldn't worry about that myself.
