Not on my street - but then I live in a private gated development.

Did a few trips on my SV which would have been uninsured, untaxed AND unlicensed on the real road before I passed my test

Skip - thanks for the invite.

I would love to come along, but saturday is my son's 2nd birthday party.

The penanlty for going on a ride out on that day would be far worse than anything the plod can throw at me for riding it before 1st march. My missus would never talk to me again.

I'll be checking the EAR section for the next rideout though.

Have you spoken to your insurance company. If they say OK then go for it tax & numberplate **** that ?30 for numberplate ? Riding an '08 2 days early has got to be worth that.


But make sure ins is fully valid
