Well I did a bit of a scout of things this weekend.

Was up at March visiting friends - 2 hours to there from home.

So may end up staying with that friend overnight on the Sat, but may come from London, not sure yet, although I did mention the ride to Sid Squid, so he may be coming along

Did find out however, that starting from South London (SW9) then going up to Liverpool St, then using the A11 -> M11, I managed to fo 110 miles on the Zed and only use 10.5 litres of fule - and that was 2-up.

Looks like the Zed is going to be more economical than the SV was

I don't know...................all you sneaks getting a heads-up on the route beforehand.................we might just have to change it now

Ah, it may be chilly.................but it's dry

How weird is that, when I posted that it said we had intermittent rain and 10 mm of it. Things are looking up.

You do know that there is over a week to go Seggons. That's a lot of weather fluctuations. Just promise yourself you'll go whatever.

You do know, of course, that if you wear them you won't need them
