I have camping stove etc if you need it.

I was planning on riding up friday, might take it in stages now over thursday and friday

I'm definately getting some sport touring tyres for the GSXR prior to this, rear diablo will be knackered just by this ride alone I reckon.

Cheers might take you up on that. I really wanted to ride a few roads I drove in the car a few years ago. Around Castle Douglas and Ayr, dont really know what I'm doing at the mo. Need to spend some time with a map and work something out.

You'll ride the full length of it to get from Glasgow to the campsite.

This sounds like fun. Count me in.

Melody, there is B&B accomodation at the campsite. There is also some further accomodation nearby if the wigwams and B&B accomodation at the campsite itself is full. The pub a short walk from the campsite where we will be spending the evening has a range of accomodation starting from ?35 for a single room, see http://www.thedroversinn.co.uk/ and book early.

the campsite still had B&B when I rang them yesterday as they offered it as an alternative when couldn't have a wigwam.
